Acceptable use policy

Last updated 17 October 2026

This policy is part of our Terms of service. It applies to everyone who uses a ThSirius workspace, and the workspace's company is responsible for its users following it.

You must

  • Follow every law that applies to your calls, including the TCPA, the Telemarketing Sales Rule, Do Not Call rules, state telemarketing and recording laws, and the CRTC rules for calls to Canada.
  • Have the consent the law requires before you call, and keep proof of it; for prerecorded or artificial-voice marketing calls this means prior express written consent.
  • Honour do-not-call requests straight away and keep them on your DNC list, and identify yourself and the company you call for.
  • Call only within the hours the law allows in the lead's own time zone.
  • Tell people when calls are recorded wherever the law requires it, including states that require everyone's consent.
  • Keep your abandoned-call rate within the limits that apply to you.

You must not

  • Show a caller ID number you are not entitled to use, or change caller ID to mislead, defraud or cause harm.
  • Call numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry, a state list or your own DNC list unless the law clearly allows it.
  • Run scams, phishing, impersonation of a government agency or another company, or deceptive sales.
  • Harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or call people who asked you to stop.
  • Call emergency lines, hospitals' patient lines or other numbers the law protects from automated calls without the consent required.
  • Use leads you have no right to call, including lists bought without valid consent for your calls.
  • Try to get around ThSirius's DNC, calling-hour or consent checks, or use the service to attack, overload or probe our systems or anyone else's.
  • Resell or share access to ThSirius without our written agreement.

What happens if this policy is broken

We may pause campaigns, block numbers, suspend users or the workspace, and pass information to carriers, regulators or law enforcement when the law requires it or harm is likely. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

Reporting abuse

If you received an unwanted call you believe was placed with ThSirius, tell us through our contact form, with the calling number, the date and time, and your number. We will look into it.
